As part of our new launch this week, we're rebranding from Atonomo (formerly atonomo.com) to CodeCanary.

We originally chose Atonomo because it emphasized the autonomous aspect of our product. Realistically it was difficult to pronounce and also it would trip up Google for multilingual searches (autónomo for example).
But CodeCanary is also a better fit for our actual product, which you can now self-onboard to and start using. CodeCanary is an AI agent that connects directly to your codebase and your product analytics. In this way, it's often the first line of defense for catching bugs. AI can watch every single session replay and carefully identify, then fix, the bugs causing users to churn or drop out of the funnel.
I also think having a cute mascot is important for a product that users interact with frequently. All of our customers get a Slack channel with CodeCanary in it, and it's playful to have a bird that you can talk to about your application without also giving it a human name, which I think is kind of a weird direction for AI agents.

This means that when you ping @CodeCanary in #codecanary-acme-co, we can be playful in a way thats
consistent with our brand and overall messaging. Helpful, and your ally:

It's also in line with our corporate name: Bunting Labs, Inc.
Bunting, meet Canary. We're excited to see what you can do. Thanks for listening.
